Guess who’s starring in a drama based on a popular manga?

Yes? Did anyone said Ryosuke Yamada? Then you guessed Right!

During the 23rd of July, it was announced that one of Japan’s popular icon will be staring on special drama episode “Kindaichi Shonen no Jikenbo (Kindaichi Case Files) -  Hongkong Kowloon Treasure Murder Case” (tentative title), to be broadcast in the winter on Nihon TV. Ryosuke Yamada a member of Hey! Say! JUMP! will be portraying the role of Kindaichi Hajime.

The Drama was based on the manga series “Shonen no Jikenbo“, this special drama episode will be staged in Hongkong. There will be lots of showy action sequences, and popular actors and actresses from Hongkong, Korea and other countries in Asia (praying that one is my from my country) will be participating in the special roles. Yamada commented with high spirits, “This is a big-scale production. I want to act out a Kindaichi that only I can portray.”
